I can’t quite believe it’s been more than three weeks since The Building Centre celebrated its 80th anniversary and what a day that was with loads of events, seminars, talks and walks to get involved in.
Some of our more consciencious visitors accepted the challenge of the specifinder quiz and those that persevered to complete it were transported to the far reaches of the product galleries and back in order to find the answers.

Nobody managed to get a perfect score but a name was drawn from the highest scorers and finally we are pleased to announce our winner. Congratulations! go to Huw Taylor of Construction Industry Council, tenants of The Building Centre and supporters of the 80th Anniversary day.
Huw was presented with his prize of an iPod touch by director, John Bonning at 2pm on Thursday 24th May in the Information Department.
Huw said ‘I’ve never been able to resist a competition and am thrilled to be the winner!’
